Well, I went over to the store. I talked to the manager that was on duty. It seems that the peson I had problem with said that he did nothing and I "exploded" for no reason. I figured that. He's blameless in his eyes. I then told her the "real" story. He said that it shed some light on the subject.

As far as my job there, it's still up in the air. The D.M. was in the store, but no desicion had been made. She'll be back in on Monday. I'm thinking of just writing a letter of resignation and get it over and done with. The assistant manager said, as far as policy goes, if you walk out during your shift you resigned, but she didn't know if they would over look it in my case.

What ever the decision is, I sure wish they would tell me. I can't take the waiting game. I don't want to go looking for another job then find I still have one at Mickey D's.

BTW, it's still snowing.

Updates as condition warrants.

P.S. I drop off LJ for a little over 48 hours and now I have motor muzzle. Go figure.

^_^

Welcome back. I'm glad you are feeling better. And I hope that everything works out. But no matter what happens, there will always be people here to talk to.

I'm really pleased to see that you're back.

Having worked for McDonald's, I can understand what is taking so long: Politics. I was one of their best workers and something similar happened. I finished the shift but was grumbling bitterly in the parking lot (NOT McDonalds property, btw...it was a grocery lot) as I went home. The particular manager who screwed up was the owner's daughter and what took them so long to fire me was 1) not exactly having grounds and 2) there were other managers who knew I was a good worker and didn't want to see me go because they knew the owner's daughter was a screw-up.

Long story short: they ended up firing me for using foul language on the property. Never mind that they don't own the lot or my vehicle.

I hope this turns out better for you than it did for me. It sounds like you have some important people on your side who know the value of a good worker.
