of my fursuit, but not one bidder. :=/

Part of me, the emotional side, wants to think, "They know it's LK's (ie. my) fursuit and they don't want to take it away from him, or be confused with him at a con."

The more logical part of me gives these reasons:

  • They are strapped for cash themselves
  • They are waiting to near the end so the price won't be too high.
  • It's not what they want.
  • They think there is something wrong with the quality of the suit, because the starting bid is so low ($50).
  • They want the head with the suit.

The last one won't happen because the head is shot and I wouldn't give it away, let alone sell it.

Any other thoughts to why no bids?

If you haven't looked, the fursuit can be found at:

Quite frankly, even if the head is shot, I would include it with the costume, and clearly state it's condition. I think a complete suit, in whatever condition, would get you more interest than an incomplete one. Just state the condition of the head clearly, and include a link to pix, so the buyer is aware.

As it is, the pic shows the suit as being a simple jumpsuit, and unless the bidders take the whole time to read the whole description, they miss the details like the paws and such.

Well, I added shots of the mittens and bootlets.

THere is even a shot showing my hand through the side opening of one of the mittens.

Well, TK, other than that. ;=3

Obviously those that are not leonine would not want the suit, unless they wanted for other fursuiting activities. [livejournal.com profile] artair is a professional "mascot" and has access to many different type of suits, not just bear and tiger.

I, personally, have used the suit in other ways, such as at a church's Summer Camp where the theme was "Circus" and they wanted a lion.

So there are legitimate reasons why a non-leonine may want the suit.

True, but I felt the need to be helpful, and couldn't come up with anything else. ;)

Believe me, I'm tempted... but cash is a problem. :( College has pretty much cleaned me out for the moment, and I'm saving up for MFF.
