No more owing Ford Motor Credit any money!

Yay!!!

So my Elantra is in fact MINE!!!!!

My lil Neon becomes mine next April. Whee! Couple hundred that I won't be spending a month that can go towards other bills. :)

'course, the day it becomes paid off, I bet the lil bugger will fall apart. Cars...oy.

If it's anything like my last Neon it won't. It was somewhere around 175,000 miles when I got rid of it. The new one (2002) is doing just fine as well.

And considering how little I drive it (I've had the car for almost 5 years and I don't even think I've broken the 25,000 mile mark, or at least am not far above that) it should last a good long time :) Hopefully.

That's great news! Elantras are good cars, too. My brother had one, and it survived several North Dakotan winters before he traded it in. My girlfriend currently has one, too. She let me drive it, and it handled beautifully. It also got decent mileage =0) I hope your car continues to serve you well!

Way to go. Don't is feel so good.
Now all you have to do is keep it in good condition until the job picks up to a level that you can start setting aside money for the next car. Yup, have to do those things you know. It's that never ending cycle buy car, pay off car, use car, buy car again.
