Second, and most importantly, as of today the CMFM became a registered business in the State of NJ, with a bank account and all. ;=3
This is important because if anyone had written a check payable to the CMFM I had no-way to cash it before.
Right now it is being operated as a sole proprietorship, with me as owner, but may go to a "LLC" in the (near?) future.
I don't think that I'll get rich off of the CMFM, and that's not my goal. The sole proprietorship was done because it was the easiest, fastest and less of a tax hassle. I will probably make the CMFM a NPO (non-profit organization) when it gets a bit larger.
Don't forget to register for the CMFM this year! The website is www.capemayfurmeet.com and it has all the info you need to register. Sorry no "on-line registering" this year, but please be sure to drop me a line to let me know how many are coming, what days, and any other info.
