What to do

First of all, the article hasn't appeared yet. Sunday's paper normally shows up later in the afternoon, so I'll check the store later.

Last night I sliced my left middle finger open on the tomato slicer. Pretty deep cut, but I don't need stitches. Thing is it had "healed" but it has re-opened. Question is do I now call out and give it three days to heal (I have off Sun. & Mon.) or do I go in. I wouldn't be able to make sandwiches with the cut. I guess I'll go over to the store and talk to the manager and see what she says. I have until 4p to make my decision, as I have to let them know no less than 2 hours before my shift starts at 6p.
I don't want to leave the crew in a bind, but I want this thing to heal. I normally do the dishes at the end of the day and the cut is right near the tip of the finger.

What to do. What to do. :=/

On the subject of "Mickey D's", I wish that some of the crew would get a "clue". They think it's a big game. I didn't get out of the store until 2:04a and we closed at midnight. Granted we had a late rush, but still. One guy was more worried about what music was on rather than cleaning up. I guess that's what happens when you are the oldest on the crew. I have some of these "kids" beat by 25 years or more (I'm 44). Sorry for the rant, but I had to get that out. :=/

Maybe...

Maybe, if you really REALLY think it necessary to go, you could wear some sort of gloves. (I'm out of ideas.) Well, good luck and I hope things turn out well.
